In September 2000, the Dubuisson Brewery opened our first micro-brewery ‘Le Brasse Temps’ in Louvain-la-Neuve. Our objective in creating this micro-brewery was :

• To present our range of BUSH beers to a target group of students, not only based in Belgium but also throughout Europe.
• To develop a highly distinctive brand image by highlighting our exceptional know-how and the range of truly savoury beers that we produce.
• To launch the new ‘La Cuvée des Trolls” beer in one of Belgium’s largest and most famous student towns. This will enable us to test our beers with a target group of students.

The Brasse Temps has proven to be a huge success in a very short space of time. It has become the place to hang out for both students and residents of Louvain-la-Neuve alike. A place to relax and a place to experience the unique taste of our beers. Consequently, the three objectives that the Dubuisson Brewery had set for this project were achieved very quickly! The results of this initial success were the following :

• In 2001, the Dubuisson Brewery launched the Cuvée des Trolls in Wallonia. This was followed by Brussels, Flanders and subsequently expanded abroad… It has proven to be an overwhelming success and 2005 will see Cuvée des Trolls reach the incredible production figure of 5,000 hectolitres!
• In March 2003, the second ‘Brasse Temps’ was inaugurated in Mons. This was the result of a partnership with the MORESTO company of Mouscron, which specializes in catering and catering management.

The Brasse-Temps uniquely only serves beers that have been brewed on site (Cuvée des Trolls 7%, Ambrasse Temps 5.5%, Blanche 4.5%, Brasse Temps des Cerises 5% and Brasse Temps Citron 3.5%, Temps des Brunes) as well as the BUSH beers of the Dubuisson Brewery. No other beer is available, not even Pils or Abbey beers !

The Brasse Temps currently produces a volume of over 1,000 hectolitres of specialty beers.
